Job Description

A school district in New Britain, CT is seeking a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized support for students in grades K-12. This one school year contract position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in behavior analysis within an educational environment, supporting diverse learners and collaborating with educators and families to optimize student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement evidence-based behavior strategies.
• Provide direct support and training to staff to promote positive behavior support systems across the school.
• Monitor and analyze student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in K-12 settings.
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively.

• New Britain, CT, within a K-12 school environment.
