A bit about us:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor. This role plays a key part in analyzing cost variances, preparing reports, and assisting in strategic decision-making to improve overall financial performance and cost efficiency.

Job Details

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• 1+ years of cost accounting experience
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred
• knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong understanding of internal controls
