Your Role in Service & Engagement

As a Customer Experience Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring every guest has an exceptional shopping experience. You’ll welcome and assist guests, addressing their needs both in-store and online, while promoting services that enhance their shopping journey. You will make shopping smoother, all while embodying the values of Target.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Observe body language to quickly understand guest needs and tailor your approach.
• Engage in meaningful conversations to better assist guests.
• Become knowledgeable about store products and services to provide the best solutions.
• Thoroughly thank guests for their visit and encourage loyalty through our programs.
• Efficiently scan and bag items, following compliance standards.
• Drive a quick and accurate checkout experience, minimizing wait times.
• Inform guests about current and upcoming promotions and events.
• Assist guests with the Target App, including loyalty program sign-ups.
• Handle returns and follow all company procedures while addressing guest needs.
• Work in cooperation with leaders to ease any difficult situations, ensuring a positive resolution for guests.
• Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, with a focus on cleanliness.
• Assist in stock replenishment while remaining accessible to guests.
• Commit to safety and compliance policies as a priority.
• Support various guest services including order pick-up, Drive-Up, and returns.
• Execute other duties as needed based on business demands.
