Our client a Japanese logistics company is seeking an entry writer to join their team.

Title: Entry Writer

Salary: 25-30/hr

Location: Wood Dale IL

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares and submits accurate customs declarations.
• Coordinates with sales departments for timely customs processing.
• Ensures logistics activities meet legal and corporate compliance standards (e.g., TSA, CTPAT).
• Manages import/export logistics, schedules pickups/deliveries, and communicates with carriers.
• Tracks shipments and provides updates to customers.
• Handles billing, freight charges, and contract data entry.
• Resolves logistics issues and supports related operations.
• Provides price quotations for new and existing customers.
• Assists in invoicing for Airfreight, Ocean, and Trucking departments.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of entry writing experience
• Highschool diploma required
• Excel experience
• Experience with international logistics
