As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for residents and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and assisting guests with a friendly and professional demeanor. By remaining attentive at the front desk, you help to deter potential security-related incidents and act as the first point of contact for inquiries or concerns. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Monitor access to the residential location, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, visitors, and property management as needed.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and providing directions or information as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
