This role is central to informing capability development, enhancing strategic decision-making, and enabling the successful transition of exquisite capabilities to U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM).

The analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the transition of DARPA-developed capabilitiesparticularly those under Project JANUS and the Hard Targets Program Management Officeto U.S. Cyber Command. This includes aligning exquisite technology solutions with operational requirements, validating threat-informed use cases, and ensuring intelligence support is embedded throughout the capability development lifecycle. The candidate will help bridge the gap between early-stage R&D and fielded operations by enabling the integration of SIGINT-derived insights, offensive cyber planning, and mission-focused analysis to accelerate the delivery of disruptive capabilities to combatant command users.

This position requires a strong background in SIGINT analysis, offensive cyberspace operations, and Special Access Program (SAP) intelligence. The ideal candidate will possess experience supporting DARPA or USCYBERCOM and a demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between advanced technology development and operational application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct intelligence support to Project JANUS and HTPMO, with a focus on the transition of technologies and operational concepts to USCYBERCOM.
  • Conduct in-depth SIGINT analysis to assess adversary communication networks, emissions, and access vectors relevant to hard target operations.
  • Deliver tailored, mission-relevant intelligence assessments to inform new-start program development, ongoing R&D efforts, and operational transition planning.
  • Support offensive cyber operations planning and targeting by integrating technical intelligence and assessing adversary cyber capabilities and vulnerabilities.
  • Advise DARPA PMs and USCYBERCOM stakeholders on threat validation, risk mitigation, and operational relevance of emerging technologies.
  • Facilitate modeling and simulation (M&S) efforts to support threat forecasting, effects-based targeting, and scenario-based planning for hard target missions.
  • Engage with technical performers, acquisition offices, and IC elements to ensure intelligence-informed technology maturation and mission alignment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Intelligence, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Graduate of a U.S. military or civilian intelligence training program (e.g., DIA, NSA, CIA, DHS, or DoD schoolhouse).
  • U.S. citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting DARPA, USCYBERCOM, or SAP-related intelligence missions.
  • Expertise in SIGINT collection, exploitation, and operational analysis.
  • Experience supporting or planning offensive cyberspace operations, including target development and capability integration.
  • Familiarity with SAP protocols, technology protection measures, and secure program environments.
  • Strong communication and briefing skills with the ability to present to senior technical and operational leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a technical or policy field relevant to cyber or intelligence operations.
  • Experience supporting USCYBERCOM J-code branches (e.g., J2, J3, J5) or participating in the USCYBERCOM Annual Campaign Order process.
  • Familiarity with national and theater-level SIGINT tasking systems, mission correlation tables, and hard target exploitation processes.
  • Experience integrating DARPA R&D outputs into operational capabilities within joint or interagency environments.
  • Active CI polygraph or Full-Scope Polygraph.
