Our team works with a variety of customers across Amazon worldwide to conceive, develop, prototype and deploy a wide range of robotic systems. Within Amazon Robotics, Global Operations - Artificial Intelligence (GO-AI) enables Amazon to accelerate and scale our machine learning transformation via human-in-the-loop support. GO-AIs Technology & Development Team is a cross-functional team of Software Developers, Technical Program Managers, Program Managers, and Business Intelligence Engineers who are responsible for the technical strategy and delivery for GO-AI.

Within Amazon Robotics, Global Operations - Artificial Intelligence (GO-AI) enables Amazon to accelerate and scale our machine learning transformation via human-in-the-loop support. GO-AIs Technology & Development Team is a cross-functional team of Software Developers, Technical Program Managers, Program Managers, and Business Intelligence Engineers who are responsible for the technical strategy and delivery for GO-AI.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop program roadmaps and strategies with customers and manage the life cycle including hypothesis testing
  • Work with GO-AIs Software Team to define and deliver GO-AIs software feature roadmap. Deliver high-quality solutions, and provide guidance regarding architecture, design, and priorities
  • Identify any internal or external tooling needed, and manage make versus buy decisions.
  • Manage and support outsourced technical service providers.
  • Work with BIEs to build GO-AI performance metrics and dashboards.
  • Drive large scale projects spanning teams across Amazon from inception to conclusion, formulate the program vision and research appropriate technical solutions.
  • Clearly communicate vision, plans and project status to management and key technical and business stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate risks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs balancing the business needs versus constraints.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with engineering teams developing artificial intelligence, machine learning, and/or robotic solutions
  • Experience with Agile and Project Management toolsets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
