Express Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical RN for a 13-week contract for an dynamic Hospital on Hawaii island.

 

13 week contract 

36 hours per week

Overall hourly rate: $81.11

Per diem eligibility: $2200.00

Weekly Gross: $2920.00

 

Shifts: Day and NOC, 12hrs 

 

The Med-Surg RN will provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced, acute care setting. This role involves managing a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic illnesses, or undergoing diagnostic procedures.

 

Job duties:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.

Nurse Qualifications: 

• Current State of Hawaii RN License
• Minimum 3 years of recent RN acute experience (within the past 24 months/2 years)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Current TB/2-Step TB/Chest X-Ray/QUANTIFERON
• Federal FingerPrint
• N95 Fit Test
• Proof of vaccinations: MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID and FLU
