Job Description

Our client, a leading player in the food production industry, is seeking a Packer to join their team. As a Packer, you will be part of the production line supporting the efficient packaging of cheese products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work well in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packer

Location: Hudson, NY

Pay Range: $21 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

What's the Job?

• Working on a production line packing cheese into boxes and preparing it for shipment.
• Prepping cheese prior to rolling it into logs and preparing packages for labeling and packing.
• Ensuring that all products are packaged according to quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
• Adhering to all safety and health regulations while on the production floor.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; we welcome entry-level candidates.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Willingness to wear provided safety gear including lab coat, hair net, and rubber boots.
• Capability to lift a maximum weight of 10-15 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime on Saturdays and potentially on weekdays based on work volume.
