Sanofi’s Rare and Neurological Disease (RND) research team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Co-op/Intern to join our discovery research. The mission of the RND team is to discover innovative and transformative therapeutics for a broad range of rare and common neurological conditions with high unmet medical needs. This Co-op/Intern opportunity offers hands-on experience working with disease-relevant in vitro and in vivo models to bring new medicines to the clinic. The selected candidate will contribute to well-defined research projects, gain exposure to the drug discovery process, and help advance our mechanistic understanding of neurological diseases. Main Responsibilities Running protein measurement techniques such as ELISA, MSD, western blot Maintaining, and performing experiments with mammalian cell cultures Supporting mouse studies Participate in experimental planning, data collection, visualization, and interpretation. Collaborate with scientists across functional teams and present findings in internal meetings. Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures and data analyses. Contribute to a culture of scientific rigor, teamwork, and continuous learning. About You Basic Qualifications: Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree, master's degree or PhD in a life science-related disciplines such as biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, pharmacology or related field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2027 Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship Hands-on laboratory experience in cell culture, molecular biology, and/or in vivo studies Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Experience in imaging, qPCR, and/or flow cytometry a plus Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and quantitative data analysis is a plus Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.
