Job Description Full Charge Bookkeeper Level Jr Controller with an accounting degree; experience with small business accounting is a plus. Proficient in QuickBooks Online to generate comprehensive financial statements and manage accounting tasks. Experience and competency with QuickBooks Online is essential. Responsibilities include: Recording financial transactions such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. Ensuring accurate GL entries, verified by the owner for unknown GLs. Utilizing rules and automation to improve efficiency. Managing invoices and reconciling bank statements and accounts. Maintaining accurate general ledgers. Preparing financial reports including balance sheets and income statements. Uploading transactions automatically in QuickBooks. Managing and entering invoices, attaching images, and ensuring timely payments. Producing monthly rental invoices for leased properties. Maintaining up-to-date financial records. Reviewing financials for discrepancies in expenses or income on P&L statements. Preparing year-end financials for CPA review for tax filings. Using QuickBooks for all data entry and reporting. Extensive experience with Excel and QuickBooks Online (5+ years). Communicating with vendors or clients regarding billing issues. Reviewing financials to identify discrepancies.
