We are seeking a skilled and reliable Funeral Service Trade Professional to join our team. This position focuses on the technical and operational aspects of funeral service, including removals, preparation, transportation, and support for funeral homes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable, and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism.

Duties

* Conduct removals from residences, hospitals, nursing homes, and medical examiner facilities in a professional and respectful manner.

* Prepare decedents for viewing and burial/cremation, including embalming, dressing, cosmetizing, and casketing.

* Provide restorative art when necessary to ensure dignified presentation.

* Safely handle heavy lifting and movement of decedents, caskets, and equipment.

* Provide transportation of decedents, caskets, and flowers to and from services or cemeteries as needed.

* Maintain prep room equipment, vehicles, and facilities in good working order.

* Collaborate with funeral homes and colleagues to ensure timely, seamless service delivery.

Experience

* Previous experience in trade embalming, removals, or funeral service operations preferred.

* Strong working knowledge of embalming procedures and restorative techniques.

* Ability to manage physical demands, including lifting, standing, and working in varied environments.

* Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,888.91 per year
