Bank of America is looking for a Staff Experience Designer that will be responsible for craft delivery for an interdisciplinary product design team that delivers strategic and tactical solutions in support of a large business critical portfolio of work. The role will partner with peers, and stakeholders from across the organization to ensure roadmap projects are delivered with high standards on experience quality, execution, and professionalism, delivering on-time and on-budget. And contribute to a culture of creativity, accountability, discourse, and measurable key results. As a staff experience designer you will: Design, optimize and deliver useful and elegant best-in-class digital experiences working from a multidisciplinary, holistic perspective from concept to execution and implementation – applying a broad range of product design capabilities across user experience and visual design to craft complete product and experience solutions Partner with a diverse set of project stakeholders and cross-functional teams – including product management and engineering. Collaborate with researchers, technologists, designers and delivery managers across the team Develop and deliver experience design deliverables across the discovery and delivery design workflow with guidance, including information architectures, user flows, wireframes, high fidelity designs, compositions, design specifications, redlines and prototypes. Deliver exemplary solutions leveraging internal and external best practices and methods. Act independently when incorporating feedback and complete tasks with support. Design digital experiences across web, mobile web, and native apps (iOS and Android) Support and leverage evaluative testing across the customer journey, from rapid user testing to usability studies. Evaluate and benchmark existing product and service experiences. Participate actively in design critique. Work on designs/projects, managing time and expectations with stakeholders across the organization and XD, staying knowledgeable on project and product details. Drive timely, quality delivery by managing multiple projects and actively providing status updates to XD and partner management. Respect standards, reflect our design system patterns in work and champion best practices while also helping us set visions for innovative digital and technology experiences. Use excellent visual, communication and storytelling skills. Required Qualifications: 2+ years of industry design experience operating as an end-to-end multidisciplinary product designer, with strong capabilities across a range of design disciplines. An outstanding portfolio that exemplifies expertise in experience design demonstrating end-to-end multidisciplinary product design. Experience designing multi-channel consumer-facing apps, responsive web and websites including complex system, user, ecommerce and transactional experiences. Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices and rapid ideation processes like Lean UX, Design Sprints, and Agile. A track record for working with cross-functional product development, design, and technology teams to ship customer-facing digital products. Ability to design with a design system and within brand guidelines. Experience defining and utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to inform and inspire design Highly proficient in design tools such as InVision, Sketch, and Figma. Self-motivated problem solver with a strong work ethic, reliable issue resolution and time management skills with an intense focus on achieving results. Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative settings, builds and nurtures strong relationships. Has a strong interest in, and aptitude for self-learning new operations, data, and technology skills. Excellent communicator in written and verbal form; strong listening and presentation skills, ability to work well with leaders. Adapts quickly and positively to change. Desired Qualifications: 3+ years of industry design experience operating as an end-to-end multidisciplinary product designer, with strong capabilities across a range of design disciplines. Financial or similar industry experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree with corresponding product design experience. Working knowledge collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
